A Morning with Mary, Mother of Priests
 presented by  Fr. Mark Chrismer

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED OUR EVENT ON JUNE 13 AND MADE IT SPECIAL!
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL HAVING ALL OF YOU LADIES WITH US
TO CELEBRATE OUR BLESSED MOTHER'S FEAST DAY AND TO PRAY FOR OUR DEAR SHEPHERDS.
Close to 100 people attended the Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Heart,
around 90 people registered for the event, and around 60 women shared food and conversation at lunch.

We were blessed to have Fr. Mark Chrismer as our Mass celebrant and inspiring conference speaker.

CD recordings of his homily, 2 talks and our Rosary for Priests can be ordered
by calling St. Joseph Radio (636) 447-6000.

Owner Lu Cortese has graciously permitted  us to make the audio available for free listening.
Click here to download Mass readings and homily (be patient there is a one minute delay before the reading starts)

Our gratitude goes out to the pastor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Fr. Chris Martin, and to the staff, Joan, Judy et al who welcomed and assisted us with using the church and their facilities.
They made the day go very smoothly, allowing us to focus on our prayers, reflection and fellowship.

A special thank you goes out to our spiritual mothers who helped with registrations, handing out information, ushering, reading and sharing their food and their warmth and their love.
We could not have pulled off this first-time event without you lovely ladies!

May the Immaculate Heart of Mary always be our refuge.
May she hold and protect all her priest-sons in the shelter of her mantle.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:    Father Mark Chrismera priest of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, was born the youngest of 4 children in his family and grew up in St. Peters, Missouri. He attended catholic school, public school and was home schooled. While attending Truman State University, he first became aware of his vocation when his older sister discerned a  religious vocation with the Dominicans of St. Cecilia Congregation in Nashville.  After graduating from Truman, he entered Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in 2004, and was ordained an Archdiocesan Priest at the St. Louis Basilica by Bishop Robert Herman in 2009. Fr. Chrismer's first parish assignment was at Sacred Heart in Valley Park. He is currently Associate Pastor at St. Alban Roe in Wildwood.

Father Mark Chrismer first introduced us to the Vatican document, Eucharistic Adoration for the Sanctification of Priests and Spiritual Maternity, which was the inspiration for this apostolate and led to its formation in 2013.

Please join us on June  13 to hear Fr. Chrismer's two conferences on spiritual motherhood for priests!
